Board Evaluation
Working Together
We work with the board chairman to design the specific process but usually combine a mix of interviews, observations, surveys and papers from previous meetings.
We carry out full evaluations for boards using a tailored mix of interviews and questionnaires. We also encourage self-assessment by board members to accompany our other evaluation methods.
Evaluation Methods
We ensure the evaluations are tailored to future challenges using our unique scenario analysis methods.
Investors, Agents and Regulators
Sometimes board assessments are required by investors, their agents or by regulators such as the Financial Services Authority (FSA). We offer focused board and executive assessments for M&A, joint ventures or other corporate transactions and deals. We also prepare financial firms for governance and board matters reviewed at ARROW visits from the FSA and offer independent governance reviews where the FSA has instigated a Section 166 governance review.
