Law Debenture has worked on a series of innovative aircraft financings with the Brazilian Development Bank (Banco Nacional de Desenvolvimento Economico e Social - "BNDES") and a number of international airlines.

Under the structure of the transaction BNDES provides loans to a company (which may be a subsidiary of the airline) to enable it to purchase new Embraer aircraft, and the leases the aircraft to another company within the airline. Law Debenture acts as security trustee and has been appointed in relation to transactions between BNDES and British Airways, KLM and JAL.
